Welcome to Blue Ribbon Boxes (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including mailbox installation, repair, replacement, and related products and accessories (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing our website, scheduling an installation, or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Blue Ribbon Boxes provides mailbox-related services including, but not limited to:

  • Installation of new mailbox posts and boxes

  • Replacement and repair of existing mailbox systems

  • Custom design, finishing, and accessories

  • Sale of related products (e.g., solar lights, address numbers, decorative hardware)

All services are subject to availability and geographic service area limitations.

2. Estimates and Payments

  • Written estimates will be provided upon request and are valid for 30 days.

  • A deposit may be required before start of project and/or scheduling installation.

  • Full payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept credit cards,

  • Late payments may result in suspension of future service until resolved.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Ensure that the installation site is accessible and free of hazards.

  • Obtain any necessary approvals from your Homeowners Association (HOA) or local authorities before work begins.

  • Confirm that property boundaries and placement locations are accurate.

Blue Ribbon Boxes is not responsible for fines, violations, or disputes arising from lack of proper approvals.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

  • Scheduling of services are at the discretion of the company based on variable factors, with Customer Service as a main focus.

  • Standard Installation Cancellation: Once a customer purchases a standard installation service, the customer has 72 hours to submit a request for full refund of purchase. Any refund requests after 72 hours are subject to a $150 refunding fee. This fee covers order processing, materials, and build preparation costs already incurred.

  • Any requests for cancellations or rescheduling of scheduled services must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in an incurred service fee.

5. Warranties and Limitations

  • We warrant our workmanship for 90 days from the date of service.

  • Manufacturer warranties (if any) apply to products we install.

  • Normal wear and tear, weather damage, accidents, vandalism, or improper maintenance are not covered.

6. Liability

  • Blue Ribbon Boxes is insured for general liability.

  • We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including lost mail, landscaping disruption, or pre-existing site conditions.

  • Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service.

7. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, website content, guides, and images associated with Blue Ribbon Boxes are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.

9. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at our discretion if:

  • The site is unsafe,

  • Customer fails to provide payment, or

  • Customer violates these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Virginia.
